How to Dine on Campus

Making Reservations

Many dining locations around campus have open seating areas. Reservations are recommended for Legends and Rohr’s. You can make them through Opentable or by calling the restaurants directly. Please note, dining hours and availability are subject to change for football gamedays and other University special events. Up to date information can be found in All Dining Locations.

Ordering Food for Pick-up and Delivery

Looking to skip the line? Notre Dame has partnered with Grubhub to offer contactless ordering solutions available from most dining locations on campus: in person kiosk ordering, pre-ordering via the app, and autonomous robot delivery.

Paying on a Cashless Campus

Flyer that reads: Campus retail sales now cashless

Notre Dame is a cashless retail environment.  Being cashless improves efficiency, eliminates security risks associated with transporting cash, and lowers health concerns with less cash repeatedly changing hands. Notre Dame's Morris Inn, food service locations, dining halls, and concession stands accept credit cards only.

Cash is still accepted at the Hammes Bookstore, U.S. Post Office, vending machines, and privately operated businesses in LaFortune. Cash donations are also still accepted at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and the Grotto.

Two convenient kiosks transfer cash to a Visa gift card, which can be used anywhere, on or off campus, where Visa is accepted:

LaFortune Student Center, lower level, next to the ATMs
● Duncan Student Center, first floor, next to the ATMs

ATMs will continue to be available in the two student centers, but have been removed from other locations on campus.

Nutrition and Allergen Information

Notre Dame is proud to offer guests a variety of nutrition and allergen information at various dining establishments. Select restaurants provide customers with calorie count and indicated allergen information on menu items. Dining Halls provide specific dietary requirements and cater to guests with food allergies, celiac disease, and other special dietary needs such as vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free offerings. Ask your server for more information or learn more on Campus Dining.
