It’s hard to prioritize health and wellness when traveling, but staying on campus at Morris Inn makes that easy with access to world-class facilities, just steps away from the hotel lobby.

Morris Inn guests receive complimentary access to on-campus recreational facilities including the Smith Center for Recreational Sports and the Rockne Memorial. The Smith Center for Recreational Sports, which opened in 2018, encompasses more than 80,000 square feet of the Duncan Student Center, just west of Notre Dame Stadium. It features a ⅙-mile suspended track, cardio machines, free weights, private studios, locker and shower facilities, and a full-size basketball court. The Rockne Memorial, located on South Quad at the corner of Holy Cross Drive and Dorr Road, features cardio and weight equipment and three courts for basketball and volleyball, as well as racquetball, handball, and squash courts. There is also a 25-yard pool and shallow exercise pool.

If guests prefer to move outdoors, there are several running and walking paths throughout the beauty of campus, including the picturesque St. Joseph and St. Mary’s lakes with unforgettable views of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and the Main Building’s Golden Dome. Campus cruiser bikes are also available to hotel guests to rent at the front desk of Morris Inn.
